Debry v Ipswich

Match 30 – League.  Tuesday 1st February 2011

Ipswich Town (H) – Jewell’s Team

Derby started February with two players less, as Kris Commons was sold to Celtic and Dean Moxey joined Crystal Palace.

Just twenty-four hours later, Derby hosted Ipswich Town, and former manager Paul Jewell.

Derby had a brilliant start and took over the lead on seven minutes after Bueno linked up well with Gareth Roberts and the Spaniard finished from inside the box.

Ipswich equalised through new loan signing, Jimmy Bullard, on twenty-eight minutes.  Ipswich then completed their comeback on sixty-eight minutes when David Norris found the net.

Another loss for Derby, who were well and truly in free-fall.

Final Score:  Lost 2 – 1. – “Pass the parachute”
